O.C.I.A.
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, or O.C.I.A., is an adult faith formation process of conversion leading to reception into full communion with the Catholic Church. The O.C.I.A. may serve your needs if you were:
-Baptized in another Christian denomination and now wish to explore coming into full communion with the Catholic Church
-An adult wanting to be baptized into the Catholic faith.
-Baptized in the Catholic faith but are in need of receiving the sacraments of Eucharist and/or Confirmation.
If you have ever reflected on making such a decision, be at peace! God, the Holy Spirit, is calling you and He will lead you. The O.C.I.A. process will help you to grow in faith and understanding of the teachings of Jesus and His Church.
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adult Classes begin in the early fall each year and continue until after the Easter the following year. The Wednesday night classes are held in the St. Anne convent adjacent to the church.
